Metal Chain Link Curtains In Action
Not long ago, we had the opportunity to make and install metal chain link curtains for a multi-storey office building in Canberra called "Two24".
Our goal was to design and install two huge transparent mesh curtains that cut across the exterior of the building's podium, providing privacy to the glass facade and defining the building's entrance.
The curtains are made of Jumao Chains made of interlocking stainless steel rings from 7 mm to 12 mm in diameter. For this particular project, we used rings with a diameter of 12mm.
Made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel wire, each ring is fully welded to ensure stability, strength and durability. At the same time, this material is flexible and soft, so it offers the best of both worlds.
